Superfast Business Wales (Superfast Broadband Business Exploitation)

Project description

Building on the Welsh Government’s sizable investment in the roll-out and provision of Superfast Broadband in Wales, the Superfast Business Wales programme  directly helps businesses to understand, adopt and exploit digital technologies that superfast broadband makes available to them.

Supported by a wealth of online material, the programme provides master-classes & workshops on a broad range of business focussed digital topics all aimed at helping businesses to realise the benefits of digital technologies in their everyday operations. Workshops are then further reinforced with the provision of 1:1 advice from a national team of Digital Advisors.

Delivery model

Businesses can access the support via:

https://businesswales.gov.wales/superfastbusinesswales/

or contact the Superfast Business Wales team through the Business Wales enquiry line: 03000 6 03000

Delivered as part of the broader Business Wales offering, the customer journey starts with engagement with an Online Digital Advisor to discuss key areas of interest and register them for the service and most appropriate workshop or master-class. Following from this, businesses will be scheduled for a 1:1 session with a Digital Advisor who will provide an action plan based on their needs.

Additional online support and e-learning supports the ongoing learning for businesses.

Geographical coverage

The project will benefit all local authority areas of Wales.

Essential eligibility criteria

Established Small and Medium size businesses (SME’s) of all sectors across the whole of Wales qualify for the support.
