Mae’r prosiect Sicrhau Newid trwy Gyflogaeth wedi dod i ben. Mae’r ddarpariaeth yn Nwyrain Cymru wedi cau ers mis Awst y llynedd. Daeth elfen Gorllewin Cymru a’r Cymoedd i ben ddiwedd mis Ebrill o fewn lefelau goddefiant ar bob allbwn a chanlyniad, gyda chanlyniad cyffredinol yn cyflawni yn erbyn y targed o 104%. Disgwylir i’r gwerthusiad terfynol gael ei gyhoeddi\u2019n ddiweddarach yr haf hwn ond yn y cyfamser gallwch ddarllen yr adroddiad terfynol ar brosiect ACE Dwyrain Cymru yma<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Astudiaeth Achos ACE – Swydd y tu hwnt i freuddwydion Sofia<\/h3>\n

Daeth Sofia (newidiwyd ei henw) i’r DU o Fwlgaria ac ymunodd \u00e2’r prosiect ACE ym mis Hydref 2018. Roedd wedi gweithio fel Cynorthwyydd Peiriannydd ym Mwlgaria, yn ogystal ag ym maes manwerthu a gweinyddwr swyddfa.<\/p>\n

Cafodd drafferth gyda sgiliau iaith ar \u00f4l symud i’r DU, ac roedd wedi methu cael swydd hyd yma oherwydd ei chyfrifoldebau gofal plant. Roedd ganddi ddiddordeb mewn gwaith gofal ond roedd yn poeni y byddai ei lefel isel o Saesneg a diffyg cymwysterau yn y maes hwn yn broblem.<\/p>\n

Roedd angen iddi wella ei sgiliau Saesneg ac ymarfer ei sgiliau ymgeisio am swyddi a’i sgiliau cyfweld, felly fe wnaethom helpu Sofia i ennill lle ar gwrs Saesneg (ESOL) a mynychu gweithdy ar wneud ceisiadau am swyddi a pharatoi ar gyfer cyfweliadau.<\/p>\n

Wrth iddi weithio ar ennill ei chymhwyster Iaith Saesneg lefel 2, daeth Swyddog Achos ACE Sofia i’w hadnabod yn well a chanfod bod ganddi sgiliau gwn\u00efo uwch hefyd. Roedd ychwanegu hyn at ei CV ynghyd \u00e2’i chymhwyster Saesneg newydd yn golygu i Sofia gael ei chyflogi’n fuan wedyn gan wneuthurwr tecstilau blaenllaw yn y DU fel peiriannydd parhaol llawn amser.<\/p>\n
