Oherwydd hyn, a heb syniad lle i droi, cafodd Mr W drafferthion ariannol a phrofi gorbryder difrifol a oedd yn ei atal rhag chwilio am gymorth ychwanegol. Dechreuodd Mr W gysgu ar soffas ffrindiau a theulu, a chafodd hyn effaith bellach ar ei gyflyrau iechyd a&#8217;r gwaith yr oedd yn gallu ei wneud.<\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l cysylltu ag un o glybiau swyddi Gwasanaethau i Mewn i Waith Cyngor Caerdydd, mynegodd Mr W ei bryderon am ei sefyllfa ariannol a\u2019i iechyd. Soniodd y cynghorydd am ein prosiectau cyflogaeth a chymorth mentora 1-2-1. Roedd Mr W braidd yn betrusgar ond penderfynodd gael ei gyfeirio am gymorth ychwanegol. Gan ei fod wedi colli ei swydd a heb gyflwyno unrhyw gais am fudd-dal, byddai Mr W yn gymwys fel rhywun economaidd anweithgar ar gyfer Siwrne i Waith.<\/p>\n<p>Cyn gynted ag y sefydlodd y mentor gysylltiad \u00e2 Mr W, daeth yn amlwg y byddai&#8217;n ddoeth yn ariannol ymchwilio i hawliad PIP (Taliad Annibyniaeth Personol) ar sail cyflyrau iechyd Mr W gan gynnwys: asthma difrifol, problemau parhaus gyda&#8217;r cefn sy&#8217;n golygu na all sefyll am gyfnodau maith nac eistedd am gyfnodau maith chwaith, a dioddef o iselder a gorbryder. Gyda chymorth y t\u00eem cynghori ariannol, llwyddodd Mr W i gael cymorth i gyflwyno cais am PIP.<\/p>\n<p>Doedd gan Mr W ddim cerdyn adnabod dilys chwaith \u2013 roedd ei drwydded yrru wedi dod i ben adeg y pandemig \u2013 a gan fod Mr W angen ID ffotograffig i ddechrau swydd, roedd yn gwneud synnwyr i ddefnyddio ein cronfa rwystrau i adnewyddu&#8217;r drwydded yrru cyn mynd ati i sicrhau swydd neu wneud cais am hyfforddiant. Gyda chymorth y mentor, aethom i&#8217;r swyddfa bost i gwblhau cais a gwneud taliad.<\/p>\n<p>Gyda&#8217;r pryderon am gyflyrau iechyd Mr W, roedd yn teimlo ei fod wedi&#8217;i gyfyngu o ran y math o waith y gallai ei wneud, ond fe wnaeth y mentor drafod cyrsiau hyfforddi amrywiol a diwydiannau posib y gallai Mr W weithio ynddyn nhw.<\/p>\n<p>Gan ei fod yn byw ar soffas pobl eraill, cyfeiriodd y mentor Mr W at &#8220;Opsiynau Tai&#8221; hefyd ond ddaeth dim byd o hyn yn anffodus oherwydd yr ofn o orfod mynd i hostel. Penderfynodd Mr W y byddai&#8217;n well iddo ddychwelyd at ei rieni wrth inni ganolbwyntio ar ei gyflogaeth a cheisio gwella ei sefyllfa ariannol.<\/p>\n<p>Gan nad oedd Mr W yn gallu defnyddio cyfrifiadur i chwilio am swydd, cyfeiriodd y mentor Mr W at Addysg Oedolion i gymryd rhan mewn cwrs Sgiliau am oes BT \u2013 ond roedd angen gliniadur neu lechen arno i ddilyn y cwrs, ac nid oedd ganddo un. Felly, cyfeiriodd y mentor Mr W at y t\u00eem Digidol lle roedden nhw&#8217;n gallu rhoi llechen iddo fel y gallai Mr W gwblhau&#8217;r cwrs a gwella ei ddefnydd o gyfrifiaduron.<\/p>\n<p>Wrth i Mr W gwblhau&#8217;r hyfforddiant, fe wnaeth ei fentor greu CV a llythyr eglurhaol a helpu gyda nifer o geisiadau am swyddi ar-lein. Maes\u00a0 o law, daeth Mr W yn fwyfwy hyderus wrth wirio e-byst ac anfon atebion sylfaenol cyn symud ymlaen i wneud ceisiadau mwy sylfaenol am swyddi ar ei ben ei hun.<\/p>\n<p>Cysylltodd Mr W \u00e2&#8217;i fentor i gadarnhau ei fod wedi cael gwahoddiad i gyfweliad. Gan deimlo&#8217;n hyderus ond yn bryderus yr un pryd, roedd am gael help i baratoi ar gyfer y cyfweliad ac ymchwilio i&#8217;r cwmni a&#8217;r gwaith maen nhw&#8217;n ei wneud. Trefnodd y mentor gyfarfod \u00e2 Mr W, argraffwyd gwybodaeth am y cwmni a chynhaliwyd ffug-gyfweliad gyda chwestiynau posibl a allai godi. Cwblhaodd Mr W y ffug-gyfweliad a chynigiodd y mentor dipyn o adborth.<\/p>\n<p>Cwblhaodd Mr W y cyfweliad, atebodd y cwestiynau cystal ag y gallai ac roedd yn onest ac yn agored am ei gyflyrau iechyd. Dywedodd y cyflogwr eu bod yn gefnogol iawn i gyflyrau iechyd pobl, a chynigiwyd y swydd i Mr W.<\/p>\n<p>Derbyniodd Mr W y swydd, gan weithio fel cynorthwyydd cegin.
