ReAct 3

Project description

The ReAct operation supports people who have been made redundant or are at risk of being made redundant to find new employment in as short a time as possible after redundancy.

The project provides a package of support that can help people to gain new skills, overcome obstacles and improve their chances of returning to work. This includes:

Free and impartial information, advice and guidance from Careers Wales, vocational training grants and a wage subsidy for recruiting employers

Geographical coverage

The project works in all areas throughout Wales

Essential eligibility criteria

  • Become unemployed by reason of redundancy in the last 3 months or under formal Notice of Redundancy;
  • Not worked for 16+ hours per week for 6 weeks or more from the date of redundancy;
  • Reside in Wales at date of redundancy and of grant application
  • Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
