Case Studies will be available on the GO Wales website shortly.
The programme is aimed at students on higher education (HE) courses in Wales who have faced barriers in accessing HE or work experience and are most at risk of NEET when they leave HE. The programme aims to increase the students’ employability through bespoke work experience with employers and employability support. It is delivered by the universities in Wales and managed by HEFCW.
Advisers support participants over a period of time to identify and meet their employability needs, working with employers to create flexible, tailored work experience for the participants. The advisers help the participants prepare for their work experience, learn from it and decide on their next steps so that they increase their chances of securing employment when they leave Higher Education.
The project works in all local authority areas throughout Wales.
